Lingayat separate religion status will boomrang on Congress: Jagadish Shettar in talks with HW News

 The Lingayat being given a separate religion status has stoked a lot of controversy. In this karnataka assembly election, Lingayat issue is one of the crucial factor. Traditionally, BJP has been benefitting from the Lingayat votes. But Congress’ move this time is expected to cut the BJP’s vote share. However, ex-CM of Karnataka and Currently, the Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly Jagadish Shettar believes that the same Lingayat community will bring Karnataka government down.
