Madhya Pradesh doesn’t deserve a govt which never thinks about state welfare: PM Modi

Modi asked, “Remember the time when Congress was in power here in Madhya Pradesh, what was the condition of people?”

Jhabua| As the polling date for Madhya Pradesh Assembly election draws closer, the campaigning has turned up the heat in the state. Prime minister Modi today addressed a rally in MP’s Jhabua where he attacked the opposition Congress saying the party doesn’t care about state’s welfare. He further said that such party doesn’t deserve to form a government in the state. Addressing the crowd he said, “Madhya Pradesh doesn’t deserve a govt which never thinks about the welfare of the state.”

PM Modi hit out at the tenure of Congress senior leader Digvijay Singh as MP CM. Modi asked, “Remember the time when Congress was in power here in Madhya Pradesh, what was the condition of people?”

Attacking the Congress on the corruption cases during UPA government, he said that corruption cases ruined the country under Congress government. He further added that his government is putting all the efforts to tackle the situation. “To tackle it, we are constantly making efforts and impact is clearly visible. Through technology, we are bringing transparency in the entire system,” Modi said.

Madhya Pradesh will be going for a poll on November 28 in a single phase. The results will be declared on December 11.
