Jaipur | Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relation with various business group said that the name of Indian railways should be changed to Adani Railways.
Addressing a rally in poll-bound Rajasthan’s Jalore Gandhi said, “The entire budget of Indian railways is 1,20,00 crores but the entire benefits are not going to the citizens of India but to Businessmen like Adani.” Taking a swipe on PM Modi he said, “Indian Railways should be renamed as Adani Railway. On the other hand, the Indian Air Force has to be replaced by Ambani Air Force. He further alleged that when CBI Director started an inquiry on the Rafale deal, PM Modi removed him from his position at midnight.
Attacking ruling BJP government and PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, “After winning elections, BJP and PM Modi became arrogant. They believed that there was no need for them to listen to people anymore. This is why BJP will lose the upcoming elections.”
Assembly election will be conducted in the state of Rajasthan on 7 December while the results will be declared on December 11 along with Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Telangana and Chhattisgarh.
