Congress’ politics is making fake promises: Piyush Goyal

Piyush Goyal

Jaipur | Union Railway Minister and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Piyush Goyal has accused the Congress party of making fake promises, casteism and dynasty politics during its tenure.

Addressing a press conference, Goyal said,” All Congress has is a history of casteism and dynastic politics along with corruption. There are several incomplete promises of the Congress that I am fulfilling.” Comparing his government with the UPA government Goyal claimed, ” We are not a kind of government that makes false promises. The Congress has done the politics of making promises while the BJP is working with an aim of development.”

He further added,”The Congress has always made hollow promises to people, they have not done anything during its tenure in the country, while the BJP has implemented various public welfare schemes, which are directly benefitting people.” Appreciating Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s work, the Union Minister said, “Vasundhara Raje has provided electricity, water and LED bulbs to people. Food at the lowest price is also being provided to the needy people during Ms. Raje’s tenure in the state.”

Assembly election will be conducted in Rajasthan on December 8 while the result will be declared on December 11 along with Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram.
