Mani Shankar Aiyar said, “India and Pakistan only have one way to solve the issues between the two nations and that is of dialogue.”
Mani Shankar Aiyar, the ousted Congress leader has landed in a new controversy. Aiyar was in Pakistan recently. Mani Shankar Aiyar praised Pakistan’s policies and criticized India’s policies. He said that only bilateral dialogues can solve the issues between the two neighbouring countries.
Mani Shankar Aiyar said, “India and Pakistan only have one way to solve the issues between the two nations and that is of dialogue.” He further praised Pakistan’s policies saying, “I am proud of Pakistan who has adopted the policy of dialogue.” Criticising Indian government he said, “But I am also unhappy that Indian government did not adopt it.” Asserting his thoughts, he said that having dialogue can solve big issues.
The former Union Minister also expressed his love towards Pakistan. Mani Shankar Aiyar said, “I love Pakistan because I love India.”
Mani Shankar Aiyar has always been known for his controversial statements. During Gujarat Election Campaign, he had made a “neech” remark on PM Modi after which he was ousted from the party. Aiyar in the past, during a TV interview to a news channel, had said that for the dialogue between India and Pakistan to resume, we have to remove Prime minister Narendra Modi.
