Donald Trump Claims Victory, Says He Will Move To Supreme Court To Stop Counting of Votes

In an extraordinary speech at the White House at 2.30 AM, he said, “We were winning in many other states and we were just about to declare it…”

The counting of votes in the US continues and there is a close fight between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump held a press conference and claimed victory. He claimed that the Republicans have won the election. He also accused Joe Biden of fraud in counting votes.

US President Donald Trump also said that he will move to the Supreme Court. He said that he didn’t expect to win Florida, but the Republicans won it. Trump said, “We won Ohio, Texas and Georgia. We have clearly won North Carolina, where they can’t catch us. We don’t even need Arizona but there is a possibility. Most importantly, we are winning Pennsylvania by a tremendous amount of votes.”

Hinting at mail-in votes, Trump called it a ‘Fraud on American People’. In an extraordinary speech at the White House at 2.30 AM, he said, “We were winning in many other states and we were just about to declare it and then suddenly this fraud happened there. Fraud on the American people and we will not let this happen.” He further said that he wants all voting to stop. With still some time to go for the end of polling, some state election boards do legally accept mail-in ballot even after the election, given they are sent in time.

He reiterated that the Republicans will go to the Supreme Court to stop the counting of ballots.

Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden is still leading in the US presidential election counting, but the gap between President and Republican nominee Donald Trump and now remains narrow. Of the 538 electoral college seats, Joe Biden won 220 and Trump 213, according to the latest statistics of NBC. To win the elections, one has to win at least 270 electoral college seats.
