CCD founder Siddhartha, son-in-law of SM Krishna, goes missing

Mangaluru | Business Baron and Cafe Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha, and son-in-law of former CM SM Krishna has gone missing in Mangaluru, according to the police.

He was last seen near Netravati river in the coastal town, according to reports. The  police are scanning the bridge and the water below. Dog squads and boats have been deployed to help with the search.

The driver has reportedly said that said he got off the bridge and walked away. But when he did not return after an hour, the driver informed the family.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Congress leaders DK Shivakumar and BL Shankar visited the Bengaluru home of BJP leader SM Krishna this morning.

CM Yediyurappa is personally overseeing the operations.
