HW Exclusive: Cox & Kings faces the heat of Economic Slowdown, allegedly removes employees without notice

An employee working at Cox & Kings said the company has not paid them three months’ salary for July, August and September this year (2019).

 

New Delhi| Due to the continued economic slowdown, many big companies are laying off their employees. Another company that has been added to this list is the famous tour and travel company ‘Cox and Kings’. Allegedly, it has fired its employees without any notice.

According to some employees who spoke to HW News on a condition of anonymity, on Tuesday, the company suddenly sent them an e-mail and informed the employees about the job. Cox & Kings has also not given salary to its employees for the last three months.

An employee working at Cox & Kings said the company has not paid them three months’ salary for July, August and September this year (2019). In the midst of all this, he has been fired from his job without any information or notice.

Employees have alleged that they were assured of salary by the company in the first week of October and the same thing was also told to OBT MICE Department, Trade Department.

According to the employees, the company had asked them to wait till September 26 and was assured that the salary would be paid by the end of the month. But so far no response has come from the CEO.
