Big fire at Goregaon’s industrial area doused, no casualties reported


At around 7.30 in the morning, the fire started to spread in an industrial area in Mumbai’s Goregaon. However, the fire was doused soon after two hours.


A big fire which broke out at Goregaon’s Babulal Nagar industrial area in Mumbai has been doused. According to reports, at around 7.30 in the morning, the fire started to spread. Nearby residents saw the flames and humongous clouds of smoke after which they called the fire brigade.

At least 15 fire tender vehicles were present at the spot. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

This incident comes in the wake of a series of fire incidents across the city. In past, one month more than 10 incidents of fire were reported with two of them being the major ones. The massive fire at Mumbai’s Kamala Mills Compound had claimed 14 lives while the fire at Marol in a residential building had killed a family.
