Not qualified to comment on Mehbooba pleas for dialogue with Pak: Dr Jatinder Singh

Jammu: Dr Jitendra Singh minister of state in Prime Minister’s office today refused to comment on the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s repeated recommendations for initiating dialogue process with Pakistan.

He said that it is the matter related to the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Defence and that he is not qualified to respond to that.

He said that undoubtedly Jammu and Kashmir is facing repeated ceasefire violations from Pakistan to infiltrate terrorists into J&K but instead of thinking about what Pakistan is doing we should think about what we have to do.

Lauding the Modi government Singh said that the response we are giving to Pakistan is not seen in last many years.

He further said that centre is very supportive to J&K and they want to make situation conducive there to attract investors for boosting local business besides providing employment opportunities to the youngsters.
