Watch: Nihang Sikh Does ‘Bhangra’ As Police Fire In Air To Control Patiala Violence

Two groups clashed near Kali Mata temple in Patiala, Punjab on Friday. When the Shiv Sena was carrying out a march against Khalistani groups in Patiala, the clashes erupted. At the rally, stones were being hurled and swords were being brandished. Harish Singla, Punjab Shiv Sena working president led the rally.

Members of some Sikh organisations and the Shiv Sena clashed with each other during the rally. Several people from the crowd were sloganeering. Shiv Sainiks shouted slogans of “Khalistan Murdabad”. Following this, some members of Sikh organisations took to the streets, wielding swords. The situation worsened when both groups started stone-pelting.

However, a bizarre video has surfaced on the internet from Friday’s clashes in Patiala. In this video, a police personnel is seen firing in the air. Seeing this, a Sikh Nihang protestor standing next to him is doing Bhangra.

Police fired in the air to bring the situation under control in Patiala. During this, protesters of Sikh organizations were present there. When two police personnel were firing, a protester came forward. He kept asking the police personnel to fire in the air. As soon as both the police personnel opened fire, he started doing bhangra. However, later other police personnel standing there drove him away.
