PM Modi further said that he only went to Varanasi to fill the nominations, but the people of Kashi contested for him and everyone became Narendra Modi.

Varanasi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reached his parliamentary constituency for the first time after his huge victory in Lok Sabha elections. Addressing the BJP workers here, PM Modi said that the BJP workers told him to relax and only come to the constituency after the victory. He said, “I did not come here on the day of voting (May 19th). Workers told me that getting an entry in Varanasi will be difficult due to Model Code of Conduct so instead, I went to Kedarnath Baba.”

PM Modi further said that he only went to Varanasi to fill the nominations, but the people of Kashi contested for him and everyone became Narendra Modi. PM Modi who began his speech with the chants of Har Har Mahadev also praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Taking a jibe at earlier government, he said that nobody had stopped them from celebrating Diwali in Ayodhya. However, it was Yogi Adityanath who first celebrated Diwali in Ayodhya. He also praised him for the grand organization of Kumbh.

Hinting at killings of BJP workers in various states, PM Modi said that it is because of the political ideology of the workers. He said that political untouchables in our country are increasing day by day. Modi also thanked the fellow party colleagues and independents who were contesting the election.

PM Modi also praised the young women workers of the party. He said, “The scooter rally that the women workers carried out has become a talk of the entire country and in the social media.”
