Headlines: Another snub? West Bengal tableau proposal for Republic Day parade rejected

The Defence Ministry has rejected West Bengal’s tableau for the Republic Day parade on January 26. This move is expected to spark a fresh row between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Centre. Out of total 56, Twenty-two proposals have been shortlisted for this parade. 16 proposals are from states and union territories and six from central ministries.
