Headlines: Rebel Congress-JDS MLAs enjoy at Mumbai Hotel | Karnataka Crisis

As many as 12 MLAs from the Congress-JDS coalition submitted their resignation to the speaker of Karnataka Assembly on Saturday. Out of the 12 legislators, nine were from the Congress and three from the JD(S). The mass resignation comes just days after Congress MLA Anand Singh resigned over the differences he had with the party. His resignation has not yet been accepted by the speaker. Even when these 12 MLAs went to meet speaker KR Ramesh to submit resignation, he was not in his chamber and so they left their resignation papers by the staff.
