Mary Kom punching her way to yet another World title… in fact it’s her 6th World title. She scripted this wonderful victory, when she defeated Ukraine’s Hanna Okhota in a sensational 5:0 verdict. By winning the title, she became the first woman in the world to win the title 6 times. And that’s an amazing feat for a mother of 3 children. Now Imagine, how much she and her family must have sacrificed, to bring a smile on every Indian face. As a nation, we are proud of you Mary Kom… you are an absolute legend.

Last week Gambhir made the headlines by announcing his retirement. This week he continues to make headlines with his interviews that he gave shortly after his retirement. In a startling revelation. In another astonishing disclosure, Gambhir said that in 2012 before the ODI series in Australia, Dhoni spoke to Sehwag, Sachin and himself and told them that it was not possible to play all 3 of them in the same match as the team was preparing for the next World Cup in Australia. What Dhoni meant was that the big Australian grounds would expose their slowness on the field and the opponents would benefit by getting the extra run when the ball was played to them.
