BSP MP Ritesh Pandey Joins BJP After Lunch With PM Modi

In a significant pre-general election move, Lok Sabha MP Ritesh Pandey, who represented the Ambedkar Nagar parliamentary seat in Uttar Pradesh, has left the Bahujan Samaj Party led by Mayawati. The 42-year-old has officially joined the BJP. Notably, Ritesh’s father, Rakesh Pandey, serves as a Samajwadi Party MLA in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. This occurs just a few days after Pandey and seven other opposition MPs had lunch with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament canteen.
