New Delhi| From today i.e 21 November onwards the summit of the G-20 countries begins. For the first time in this summit, 20 countries of the world are going to participate on a virtual platform. Apart from the global pandemic Covid-19, issues arising from it will also be at the center of agenda of the summit.
The possibility of discussion on climate change has also increased after the report of G20 has been revealed. Apart from this, measures to be taken to bring back on track the derailed economy due to Covid-19 will be discussed in this conference. Saudi Arabia is hosting this conference for the first time. Through this conference, Saudi Arabia will definitely look to improve its relations with other emerging economic powers of the world.
The G20 was established in the year 1999. Earlier, finance ministers of different countries and governors of central banks attended this conference. In 2008, it included heads of countries. The immediate objective of this decision was to effectively brainstorm on the 2008 global financial crisis. The G-20 is a group of 20 countries. It includes US, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, United Kingdom and the European Union.
