The discovery of a woman’s body in a water tank at Greater Noida’s Gautam Buddha University has prompted suspicion toward her husband and mother-in-law, who have been missing since Monday. The police, informed of the incident on Sunday, found top officials at the scene.
Initial investigations suggest the husband, an employee at JIMS Hospital, engaged in frequent altercations with his wife. Following a dispute on Sunday night believed to involve alcohol, he is suspected of killing her before fleeing with his mother. Authorities are searching for them, and a case has been filed based on the family’s complaint. Joint Commissioner Shivhari Meena confirmed the details.
