Bengaluru| The central investigating agency CBI is conducting raids at the house of DK Shivakumar, who became the President of Karnataka Congress a few days back. CBI raids are also going on at his brother DK Suresh’s house. Officials said that at least 60 officials of the central agency are conducting raids at 15 places. Shivakumar is widely known as the troubleshooter of his party and is known as a loyalist of the party. He rose to prominence during 2018 Karnataka Assembly Elections.

Recently, DK Shivakumar had said that he suspected that his phone was being tapped. He demanded an inquiry into the case. On the other hand, the state Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai had rejected Shivakumar’s claims.
