Jammu & Kashmir Elections: 11.1% Voter Turnout Till 9 Am

A voter turnout of 11.1% has been recorded till 9 am in the first phase of the Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir—24 of the state’s 90 constituencies according to NDTV.
The valley is seeing its first assembly elections since the removal of Article 370. This is also the first time Jammu & Kashmir will see an assembly election as a Union Territory.
When Article 370 was abrogated, the state was divided into the Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.
