India Issues Travel Advisory For Citizens Considering To Visit Iran | Israel

EAM has issued a travel advisory for Indians considering to visit Iran. The MEA has said, โ€œWe are closely monitoring the recent escalation in security situation in the region.โ€

โ€œIndian nationals are advised to avoid all non-essential travel to Iran. Those currently residing in Iran are requested to remain vigilant and stay in contact with the Indian Embassy in Tehran,โ€ Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs posted the statement on micro-blogging website X.

France has announced that it would send more military resources to West Asia to address the Iranian threat. It has also called a United Nations Security Council meeting for later in the day following Iranโ€™s launch of missiles at Israel last night.

The French Presidency, in a statement, said: โ€œCommitted to Israelโ€™s security, France today mobilized its military resources in the Middle East to counter the Iranian threat.โ€
โ€œThe head of state also reiterated Franceโ€™s demand that Hezbollah cease its terrorist actions against Israel and its population.โ€

It further said: โ€œPresident Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee in next monthโ€™s US presidential election, are both monitoring Iranโ€™s attack on Israel from the White House situation room.โ€
