Delhi Pollution: AQI Stands At 409 For Third Consecutive Day

Delhi air quality dipped down for the third consecutive day on Friday, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 409, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The visibility has been reduced and disrupted both traffic and flight operations as the city remains smog.

Jahangirpuri, Bawana, Wazirpur, and Rohini experienced the worst pollution, with AQI levels of 458, 455, 455, and 452 respectively. Four of Delhi’s 39 monitoring stations were categorized as “severe plus,” and 21 of them recorded severe AQI levels. The air quality shows a slight improvement compared to Thursday’s AQI of 432.
