Haryana Chief Mohanlal Badoli and a singer named Rocky Mittal were booked after a woman alleged she was gang-raped at a hotel in Himachal Pradesh’s Kasauli on July 3, 2023.
According to the complaint filed by the woman, the two men made videos of the incident and threatened to kill her if she disclosed the incident. The woman was staying in a hotel in Kasauli with her boss and friend when they met the two accused on July 3, 2023.
The accused have been identified as Rocky Mittal, Jai Bhagwan and Mohanlal Badoli.
According to the FIR registered, the woman said, “Jai Bhagwan offered her a role in his album, while Mohanlal Badoli will help her get a government job.”
The FIR was registered on December 13; the victim claimed that she, along with two of her friends, had gone on
a trip to Himachal Pradesh.
The woman also claimed the duo forced her to consume alcohol, molested her and allegedly gang-raped her.
Police said the victim also alleged that two months ago, she was called to one of the accused Rocky’s houses in Panchkula, where the accused threatened to implicate her in a false case.
The case has been registered against Haryana BJP Chief Mohanlal Badoli and Rocky under sections 376 D (gang rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
