Trump justified the actions of the US military, saying, “What we did yesterday should have been long ago. Many lives are saved.”
Washington| US President Donald Trump has defended his decision to kill Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s Quds army. In a big revelation, Trump has said that Soleimani’s terrorist plot extends from Delhi to London. Trump continued, “If Americans are intimidated anywhere, we have already prepared the target list. We are ready for any kind of action as per the need.
Trump did mention General Suleimani’s terror plot in Delhi, but he did not divulge much details. In February 2012, a bomb was fitted in the car of the wife of an Israeli diplomat, Tal Yehoshua Koren. The bomb exploded while she was returning with her children from school.

The diplomat’s wife, driver and two passersby were injured in the blast. The police investigation revealed that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards had plotted the attack. An Iranian man was also arrested in the case, though he was later released on bail. It is believed that Trump was linking General Qassem to the incident.
What I did should have been long ago: Trump
Trump justified the actions of the US military, saying, “What we did yesterday should have been long ago. Many lives are saved. Recently, Sulaimani tried to brutally suppress the protests in Iran. The Iranian government tortured and killed about 1,000 innocent people on its own.”
Respect for the Iranian people in my heart: Trump
Trump said, “We carried out the attack to stop the war. I have a deep respect for the Iranian people. They are beautiful people with good culture and heritage. We do not want a change of power in Iran. But General Qassem was plotting to target US diplomats and military personnel. So we killed him.”
