As the Opposition mounts pressure on the government over Pegasus spyware row and farm laws, the government introduced amendments to key Acts in the Parliament on Monday. In the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman moved to bring amendments to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and Factoring Regulation Act, 2011. Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day after relentless protests by Opposition members who raised slogans and showed placards on the Pegasus snooping row and farmers’ issue.
