India has recently underscored its commitment to make the Indo-Pacific a region for shared economic prosperity as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on 30th of November, held their first trilateral meeting at the G-20 summit. He also gave a new acronym JAI – Japan, America and India – to the first ever trilateral summit between the leaders of three powerful democracies. The trilateral meeting of Modi-trump and Abe has importance for India on various fronts.
