Red Fort Violence: Deep Sidhu, Lakha Sidhana Named In Delhi Police FIR

In a Facebook video, Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu has confessed that he turned the mob of farmers towards the Red Fort, after which the violence spread.

 

New Delhi| Delhi Police has stepped up its investigation in the case of violence on Tuesday, 26 January during the Kisan Tractor parade. Delhi Police has included names of Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu and Punjab gangster Lakha Sidhana in the FIR in the violence at the Red Fort. Along with this, Delhi Police is also investigating the role of these two in case of the violence on Republic Day.

At present, the Delhi Police has so far included the names of 37 farmer leaders in the FIR lodged against the violence during the Kisan Parade. In this FIR of Delhi Police, a total of 13 sections have been imposed including serious sections like criminal conspiracy, robbery, use of deadly weapon during robbery and attempt to murder.

According to the information, Deep Sidhu and Lakha Sidhana provoked the farmers to go to the Red Fort. After this, Deep Sidhu asked one protester to hoist the Sikh religious flag on the ramparts of the Red Fort.

200 people will be arreste

In connection with the violence in the capital during the farmers’ tractor rally, Delhi Police has detained 200 people. Delhi Police has said that these people will be arrested soon. At the same time, Rakesh Tikat is also named in the FIR lodged in Ghazipur police station.

394 policemen injured

Commissioner of Delhi Police SN Srivastava has said that 394 policemen have been injured in the violence during the tractor rally of farmers on Republic Day. Some of them are in ICU. Police has registered more than 25 FIRs. 19 people have been arrested and 50 people have been detained.
