CM Shivraj is ‘Promise-Machine’ while PM Modi is a ‘Lie-Machine’, alleges Rahul Gandhi

Chitrakoot | Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday continued his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Indo-France Rafale deal scam.

Addressing a rally during his 2 day Chitrakoot visit in Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi said, “PM Modi’s policies are only for 10-15 of his rich friends. He can waive off loans of crony capitalists but not for farmers.”

Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Congress President alleged, “In a cricket match people called Sachin Tendulkar a run-machine. In Madhya Pradesh, people call its CM as ‘Ghoshna-machine’ and PM as ‘Lie-machine’ because of all the hollow promises”.”When the Chief Minister comes to the stage in Madhya Pradesh, everyone sees that the announcement machine has come. 20,000 Announcements, While when Narendra Modi comes to the stage, everyone is confident that he will speak one or the other lie today” he added.

Speaking on the Controversial Rafale deal, the Congress President said, “HAL is manufacturing aircrafts since last 70 years. Anil Ambani, who hadn’t manufactured a single aircraft and has a debt of ₹45000Cr was given the deal.” Questioning PM Modi’s silence on the deal, Gandhi asked, “Chowkidar (PM Modi) is a thief. When I questioned him why the price was increased from ₹526Cr to ₹1670Cr, he had no answer. He couldn’t meet my eyes.” Gandhi also assured that when Congress comes to power all those involved in the Rafale scam, Vyapam scam, E-tendering scam will be investigated and brought to justice.

Gandhi further promised that if the Congress Party forms a government in Madhya Pradesh the Congress government will establish a food processing plants in every district. He said,” Farmers deserve the right price for the hard work they do”.”Our party is a combination of experienced leaders and youth. They will together work to build Madhya Pradesh,” He added.
