New Delhi | The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Tuesday demanded a clarification from Congress President Rahul Gandhi over Navjot Singh Sidhu’s visit to Pakistan and hugging Pakistan Army Chief General Bajwa.
Addressing a press conference, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “It’s sad that Navjot Sidhu has somewhat tried to implicate India by saying Indians have small hearts. We condemn this. We want an answer on this not from Sidhu ji but from Rahul ji.”

Taking a dig at Sidhu’s visit to Pakistan for the oath-ceremony of Imran Khan, Patra said, “Rahul Gandhi Ji, you are out of power and should accept this graciously. You cannot run a parallel government.” He further added that there are the people within the Congress party who are trying to promote the interest of Pakistan in India.
BJP further alleged that the Congress Party has added fuel to the conspiracy created by Pakistan.”People within the Congress are providing oxygen to Pakistan,” he added. Critising the Congress party, Patra said, “For Congress, our Army Chief is ‘sadak ke gunde’ and Pakistan Army Chief is ‘sone de munde’?
