New Delhi | Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir on Thursday while responding to the question of Pakistan election said that the people of Pakistan have ‘voted against terrorism by voting against Hafiz Saeed.’
“It is clear that Pakistan’s public did not help Hafiz Saeed win the elections. We hope that the government that is formed will make good relations with us. The best thing is that the public voted against terrorism by voting against Hafiz Saeed,” Ahir said while speaking to media.
BJP leader and Minister of State for Power RK Singh said, “I don’t see any change because as far as India is concerned, important matters like export of terrorism by them are not going to change. The military used to decide this policy and they will do it now as well.”
BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain alleged that the Pakistan elections took place under the shadow of Military’s influence.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tereeke-e-Insaf (PTI) chief who is leading in the trends while addressing his followers via video conference spoke about the improving relationship with India, “I was saddened by the way Indian media recently projected me. I am one of those Pakistanis that wants good relations with India, if we want to have a poverty-free subcontinent then we must have good relations and trade ties,” said Khan.
