Congress has ‘destroyed, exploited’ the country: UP Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma

BHOPAL: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma on Monday said that the Congress party has “plundered, destroyed, exploited and raped” the nation.

Addressing a public rally in the town of Morena in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP leader asked the audience to avoid raising their hand while chanting the slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai, as the symbol of hand stands for the Congress.

Praising the BJP government in both the centre and state, Sharma said “Now that we have Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh and Narendra Modi government at the Centre, we don’t have to raise our hands for Bharat Maata Ki Jai. Congress’ haath ka panja (election symbol) has robbed, plundered, destroyed, looted, exploited and raped’ the country.”

The State of Madhya Pradesh along with Rajasthan will hold assembly election towards the end of the year.

Modi government to highlight its achievements on 4th anniversary with ’48 months vs 48 years’ campaign

TestHostEntry

With four years of governance been completed, the Narendra Modi led Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) government will be using this occasion of its fourth anniversary as an opportunity to focus on the 2019 polls.

PM Modi is expected to highlight the achievements of his government in the last 48 months as opposed to the ’48-year rule by the Gandhi family’.

According to an official in the ministry of power,”We have been asked to come up with a detailed report on the projects and programmes launched and calculate the number of jobs they helped generate.”

Few of the other major highlights of this anniversary event will be 100 percent rural electricity, highways ministry’s achievement of pushing road construction to 28 km per day, and free gas connection to people living below poverty line.

As per sources, every ministry is asked to prepare videos of their achievements and all cabinet ministers will tour across India and hold press conferences.
