Sarahanpur: On a day when Western Uttar Pradesh started polling, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally at Sarahanpur. In his address PM emphasized on โBJP government in Uttar Pradesh is very important.โ He said that government is important to ensure small farmers keep on availing benefits of PM Kisan Yojana.
Addressing the rally he said, โI am sorry that I couldnโt meet the voters of first phase. But I am with you here in Saharanpur today to start campaign for 2nd phase.โ
Expressing his happiness he said, โSome constituencies in western UP are voting for the 1st phase. Iโm glad that on such winter mornings, people are going to vote in huge numbers. I appreciate all these voters. BJP UPโs โghoshna patraโ is a resolution for welfare.โ
He further appeals citizens to keep Uttar Pradesh riot-free, keep our sisters free from fear & send criminals to jail.
Addressing the issue of sugarcane farmers, he said โWeโre working on a permanent solution for sugarcane farmers. To tackle ups & downs of sugar market, sugarcane will also be used to produce ethanol. Rs 12,000cr received from sugarcane-based ethanol, which is providing safety to sugarcane farmers.โ
He said, โBJP govt in Uttar Pradesh is very important to ensure small farmers keep on availing benefits of PM Kisan Yojana.โ

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to address the โVijay Sankalp Sabhaโ in Uttarakhand at 1:30 pm. Meanwhile, BJP president JP Nadda is will be addressing three public meetings in Uttar Pradesh.
Election in 7 constituencies of Saharanpur district is to be held in the second phase on February 14 and campaign for this phase will end on February 10.
Saharanpur is situated adjacent to Muzaffarnagar and Shamli and the PM can give a message to voters through the rally. The BJPโs district president in Saharanpur Mahendra Saini shared that rallies convened during campaign were always meant for giving message to voters.
