Prashant Kishor steps down as NDA’s campaign head in Bihar, RCP Singh replaces

Patna | Janata Dal-United(JDU)’s vice president and political strategist Prashant Kishor tweets about his decision to not head the NDA campaign in Bihar, a month before the Lok Sabha elections.

Kishor wrote on the microblogging site Twitter,”In Bihar, the NDA is fighting the elections firmly under the leadership of Honorable Modiji and Nitishji. JDU’s responsibility for election campaigning and management is on the strong shoulders of the senior and experienced leader of the party Mr RCP Singh. In this early round of politics, my role is to learn and collaborate”.

He has declared that senior leader RCP Singh will take his position.

Kishor has been a critic of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s decision to join the NDA. He said that Kumar should have taken the fresh mandate.

Kishor’s statements gained a lot of opposition in the JDU party.

However, the Chief Minister has maintained silence on the matter.
