Business Tit-Bits: Will She Cut Income Tax Rates?

Ahead of the Union Budget 2021 presentation on February 1, citizens in the country are expecting the government provide some concessions on the tax front. The government has not specifically mentioned whether it plans to provide tax relief to citizens, but Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had earlier promised a budget like “never before”. Expectations are high that the government will keep its spending high in the upcoming budget, and a large portion of it will go towards boosting demand. In this episode of the Business Tit-Bits, our Business Editor Mr Akhilesh Bhargava shares his take.
