More Than 2 Lakh COVID-19 Cases In India, Close To 9000 Cases Reported In A Day

India has recorded close to 9000 cases in the last 24 hrs the biggest hike so far. India recorded more than 300 deaths.

New Delhi| India remains one of the most affected by the Coronavirus pandemic as the cases reached 2 Lakh. As per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India now has 2,07,615 cases of Coronavirus. Out of them, 1,01,497 are active cases whereas 1,00,302 have been cured/discharged or migrated.

 

The death toll due to Coronavirus in India has reached 5,815. India has recorded close to 9000 cases in the last 24 hrs the biggest hike so far. India recorded more than 300 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state with 72300 cases. Among them 31333 have been cured whereas the death toll is at 2465.

The state is followed by Tamil Nadu with 24586 cases and Delhi with 22132 cases. Gujarat remains fourth most affected state with 17617 cases and 1092 deaths.

 

On Tuesday, 137 new positives were found and 6 died. 20 patients were found in Bhopal, 31 in Indore, 24 in Neemuch, 10 in Jabalpur, 9 each in Sagar and Gwalior. The number of patients in the state has increased to 8420. So far 5221 patients have recovered.

Uttar Pradesh saw 368 new positive cases in 24 hours and 6 patients died. The maximum 42 infected were found in Gautam Budh Nagar district. So far, 8729 people have been infected in the state. These include 2288 migrant workers who have returned to UP. At the same time, 229 patients have died.

 

Bihar: 151 corona positive cases were reported in the state on Tuesday. So far, 4096 people have been infected with Corona in the state. At the same time, 24 people have lost their lives in the state due to this disease.

 

Rajasthan: On Tuesday, 272 new positive cases of corona were reported and 4 people died. Among the new patients, 70 were found in Bharatpur, 42 in Jaipur, 44 in Jodhpur, 13-13 in Pali and Kota. The total infectious population in the state reached 9373. So far 203 deaths have been reported from Corona in the state.
