Mass Burial Held For 87 Victims Of Manipur Clashes

In Churachandpur, Manipur, a mass burial for 87 victims of seven-month-long ethnic strife, including a month-old baby named Issac, an 86-year-old, and eight women, took place on Wednesday. Despite strict security and prohibitory orders, thousands attended the event marked by traditional rituals. Tribal volunteers paid gun salutes, honouring the deceased as “martyrs.”
