MP Bans Loudspeakers, At Religious Events

In his inaugural act as the newly elected MP CM, Mohan Yadav, on Wednesday, prohibited the use of loudspeakers at religious places exceeding permissible decibel levels. Seeking blessings at Mahakaleshwar Ujjain, Yadav cited the Supreme Court’s July 2005 judgment, banning loudspeakers and music systems between 10 pm and 6 am at public places, as he signed the order.
