The Union Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) along with the Central and the Assam government are all set to sign a tripartite settlement memorandum. This treaty aims to end decades-old insurgency in the northeastern state. Top leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, and ULFA leader Arabinda Rajkhowa will be present during the signing of the peace agreement in North Block.
