WATCH: Afghan Women Protest For Their Rights On Kabul Streets, As Taliban Fighters Watch

As the Taliban take control of Afghanistan, a group of women were seen protesting for their rights on the streets of Kabul. The women were surrounded by heavily armed Taliban fighters as they protested.

As thousands of Afghans flee the country to evade possible persecution by the Taliban, a group of women were seen taking out the first public protest in Afghanistan demanding their rights.

In a video shared by Iranian journalist Masih Alinejad on Twitter, four Afghan women are seen holding handwritten paper signs on a street of Kabul while surrounded by heavily armed Taliban fighters. The women can be heard demanding their rights, including social security, right to work, right to education and right to political participation.
