“Learned Very Well From Master”: Amrullah Saleh’s Jibe At Taliban, Pakistan Over Kabul Attack

Mr Saleh hit out at the Taliban for denying links with ISIS and said that it is similar to the denial of Pakistan on Quetta Shura.

Amrullah Saleh, the former First Vice President of Afghanistan and self-proclaimed ”caretaker” President, said the Islamic State-Khorasan Province (IS-K) has links with the Taliban and the Haqqani network, particularly the ones operating in Kabul.

The former spy-turned-politician, who claims to be in Panjshir valley, also hit out at the Taliban for denying links with ISIS and said that it is similar to the denial of Pakistan on Quetta Shura.

“Every evidence we have in hand shows that IS-K cells have their roots in Talibs & Haqqani network particularly the ones operating in Kabul. Talibs denying links with ISIS is identical/similar to the denial of Pakistan on Quetta Shura. Talibs have learned very well from the master,” Mr Saleh said in a tweet.

Amrullah Saleh had earlier blamed Pakistan for setting up terrorist factories and agencies that provide explosives materials to the Taliban in order to create chaos in Afghanistan and had called Quetta Shura nothing else but a title for the Pakistani military to implement their plans.

The ISIS has claimed the responsibility for the attack outside Kabul Airport, where the US and allies have been carrying out evacuation of tens of thousands people. The attack reportedly killed 83 people, including 13 US servicemen.
