BJP Launched Campaign Poster In Maharashtra With UP CM Yogi Adityanath Slogan ‘Batenge To Katenge’ Poster

On Tuesday ahead of the Maharashtra assembly polls BJP launched the poster featuring Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s slogan ‘Batenge To Katenge’ in the different parts of Mumbai.

Vishwabandhu Rai BJP Member explained the motive behind the poster.

“The opposition is engaging in political manoeuvres, and we have responded to that. The people of North India believe in the Yogi and his slogan ‘Bantenge to Katenge,’ and so we have started to respond to the opposition tactics in Maharashtra as well. In Haryana, you have seen how people have stood together and responded, supporting the Bharatiya Janata Party. We are also now going to apply this in Maharashtra”, he said.

The Karnataka High Court has rejected a public interest litigation (PIL) against Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi. The PIL demanded an apology from Gandhi for alleged hate speech and making derogatory remarks against Prajwal Revanna.

The PIL comes after Gandhi’s comments accusing former MP Prajwal Revanna of “raping 400 women” and describing it as “mass rape” while delivering a public speech during the Lok Sabha election campaign.

The High Court bench comprising Chief Justice NV Anjaria and Justice K Aravind rejected the petition and passed the judgement. The court calling it a waste of judicial time imposed a ₹25,000 fine on the petitioner.
The High Court also ruled that the matter was not fit for public interest litigation and found no merit in the claims made by the petitioner. The High Court concluded that the allegations were unsubstantiated and dismissed the plea.
