New Delhi | After the massive victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha election Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met veteran BJP leader LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi their residence. Along with PM Modi, BJP president Amit Shah is also present at his residence.
Advani who is credited to build BJP along with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was denied the BJP ticket from Gujarat’s Gandhi and was replaced by BJP president Amit Shah. Earlier after the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Advani along with Murli Manohar Joshi and Yashwant Sinha were nominated into the Margdarshan mandal.

Informing about his visit to L.K Advani, PM Modi on his twitter wrote,”Called on respected Advani Ji. The BJP’s successes today are possible because greats like him spent decades building the party and providing a fresh ideological narrative to the people.”

On his meet with Murli Manohar Joshi, PM Modi wrote,”Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi is a scholar and intellectual par excellence. His contribution towards improving Indian education is remarkable. He has always worked to strengthen the BJP and mentor several Karyakartas, including me. Met him this morning and sought his blessings.”

In the 2019 Lok Sabha results, BJP has won 299 seats and leading on 4 seats while the Congres party managed to win just 52 seats.
