AAP Proposes 13 point Agenda For Goa Polls

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has developed a 13-point agenda for the Goa public. Addressing the press conference he focused on employment points. He said that employment will be provided to youth, those who do not get it will get the aid of Rs 3,000 per month. “Mining has a huge vested interest, we will provide land rights in 6 months of coming into power,” he said.

On coalition, Kejriwal said he would respect the people’s mandate and his party is open to post-poll coalition with non-BJP parties in case of a hung assembly.

At the press conference he said further said, “Corruption-free governance is in our DNA.”

Goa polls: BJP undecided on his ticket, Utpal Parrikar starts campaigning

Former Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s son Utpal is yet to get a ticket from BJP, but he has started campaigning for the state Assembly election. He did a door-to-door campaign in Panjim, previously Manohar Parrikar’s constituency, from where he is demanding a ticket. The seat is in the news as BJP’s Goa in-charge Devendra Fadnavis has said that just because an aspirant is the son of Manohar Parrikar or any leader, didn’t automatically qualify him for the BJP’s ticket.

BJP to hold meetings to discuss candidates for Goa, Uttarakhand polls

The BJP will hold a meeting on Sunday in Delhi to discuss candidates for the upcoming Uttarakhand Assembly election. The meeting will be chaired by BJP president JP Nadda. It will also be attended by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and state BJP chief Sadanand Shet Tavanade, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami, and state BJP chief Madan Kaushik. Union home minister Amit Shah may also attend the meeting.

The Assembly Elections are round the corner. Goa will be voting on February 14. The polling will be held in phases. Go is voting in the second phase.
