“Cultural Terrorism Being Spread,” Says MP Minister On Holi

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang reacted on the messages of save water on Holi. He said that some people are spreading “cultural terrorism to drive the country’s youth away”.

Speaking with media in Bhopal, he said that ‘cultural terrorism’ is being spread, by talking about environment safety only on the Hindu festivals.

Vishwas said that a ‘conspiracy is being hatched to drive away our youth Hindu festivals’ from  by spreading such messages.

“Merely running the message of saving water on Holi will not work. These people who talk about saving water on Holi waste so much water to make their car shine. They should correct themselves first. Why does this kind of thing come only during festivals?” he said, adding, “These people are attacking our culture in the name of the environment.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishing the country on the occasion of Holi, called on Indians to promote brotherhood in the nation. Home minister Amit Shah, too, joined in the Holi celebrations and wished the nation.

“Wishing you all a very Happy Holi. May this festival of colors, a symbol of mutual love, affection and brotherhood, bring every color of happiness in your life,” he wrote in a tweet.

Amit Shah taking to twitter posted his wish. “May this great festival of colours, joy and happiness infuse happiness, peace, good fortune and new energy in everyone’s life,” he tweeted.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi too wishing the nation tweeted, “Wishing you a very Happy Holi, the festival that connects hearts!”
