Mumbai: Industrialist Anand Mahindra was showered with love online as he offered a job to a specially-abled man in Delhi. On Monday, he shared a video on his twitter, of the man, a quadruple amputee, and said that he was “awestruck by the gentleman.”
On his timeline he received the video he shared. In the video, tweeted by Anand Mahindra, the man is seen driving a modified vehicle and earning his livelihood from the Delhi streets. In the video man is seen demonstrating how he drives his vehicle despite having no arms or legs.
He has been driving the vehicle since the past five years and said that he has to step out to earn because, “I have a wife and two children apart from my ageing father.”
In order to help him out, Anand Mahindra said in the caption of his post, “Received this on my timeline today. Don’t know how old it is or where it’s from, but I’m awestruck by this gentleman who’s not just faced his disabilities but is GRATEFUL for what he has. Ram, can @Mahindralog_MLL make him a Business Associate for last mile delivery?”
On his tweet the members of his company show support and replied, “Sure Anand ! We are trying to track him as soon as we can. He will be an asset to our country’s supply-chain. A real Superhero.”
