J&K: Civilian Killed During Exchange Of Fire Between Terrorists And Forces

Srinagar: On Sunday, in Jammu and Kashmir, a civilian was killed during exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces. According to the Kashmir Police, terrorists fired at a patrol party of the Central Reserve Police Force.

The firing took place near the bridge connecting Litter Pulwama with Shopian’s Turkwangam in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the firing that took place between the terrorists and security forces, a civilian identified as Shoib Ah Ganie got injured.

The civilian was taken to the district hospital in Pulwama for treatment. There, he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, the terrorists have escaped into nearby orchards, as per the police. A case has been registered and a search launched.
