BJP’s Kailash Vijayvargiya identified Bangladeshi over ‘strange eating habit of Poha’

While addressing at the seminar, Vijayvargiya also claimed that a Bangladeshi terrorist was keeping a watch on him for the last one and a half years

Indore: BJP’s top leader Kailash Vijayvargiya from Madhya Pradesh said on Thursday that he doubted that there were some Bangladeshis among construction laborers who worked at his house recently. Their eating habits were “strange” aroused suspicion about their nationality, he said at a seminar in support of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Recently a new room was being renovated to his residence, he found “eating habits” of some of the workers “strange” as “they were eating only ‘poha‘ (flattened rice)”, Vijayvargiya said.

When I talked to their supervisor and the building contractor, he suspected that these workers were from Bangladesh, the BJP leader said.

When the media questioned him, Vijayvargiya said, “I realized these workers were residents of Bangladesh. Two days after I became doubtful, they stopped visiting my house for work.

“I have not filed any police complaint yet. I only mentioned this incident to make awareness among people,” Vijayvargiya said.

While addressing at the seminar, Vijayvargiya also claimed that a Bangladeshi terrorist was keeping a watch on him for the last one and a half years.

“I go out, six-armed security personnel they also travel with me everywhere. What is happening in India? Now outside people will enter and spread so much terror?” he questioned.

“I urge everyone don’t get confused by rumors. The Citizenship Act is in the interest of the nation. This Act will provide asylum to genuine refugees and identify intruders who are a threat to the nation ‘s internal security,” Vijayvargiya said.
