Watch: US Secretary Calls Out India For Its Tyranny On Religious Minorities

Washington:  According to the US State Department’s annual report to Congress on worldwide religious freedom, attacks on members of minority communities in India in 2021, including killings, assaults, and intimidation, occurred throughout the year.

It also liberally recounts the complaints of numerous non-profit organizations and minority institutions regarding attacks on them, but is mostly silent on the findings of the officials’ investigations and the government’s reactions.

“Throughout the year, there were numerous attacks on members of religious minority communities, including murders, assaults, and intimidation. There were cases of ‘cow vigilantism’ against non-Hindus based on suspicions of cow slaughter or beef trade, for example “According to the report’s India section.
