New Delhi: BJP Leader Tajinder Bagga’s arrest on Friday set off a big challenging show between police of three states. Bagga has been granted police security by a court in Delhi. After being released by the Punjab Police, Bagga has challanged to Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal. He said that he is prepared to fight the legal battle.
After returning back to Janakpuri home he said, “I challenge Kejriwal if he thinks that we will stop asking questions and stop raising our voices. I will fight this battle. I will not stop. I will keep asking questions of Arvind Kejriwal.”
“My fight for justice will continue. If Kejriwal thinks that he can threaten us, then he is wrong. He cannot stop us. Kejriwal can do whatever he wants,” added Bagga.
Denying the claims of ‘notices being sent to him and he was called for probe,’ made by Punjab Police he said “I have already replied to all the summons that have been issued.”
When he was questioned about his actions if the Punjab Police attempted to arrest him again, he said, “Let Punjab Police come a hundred times, but with papers and proof.”
After his release from Punjab police custody, he was produced before a court at Dwarka. At the Duty Magistrate directed the Delhi Police to provide security to Bagga and his family. This decision was taken by the Duty Magistrate after the BJP leader expressed an apprehension that such incidents may happen to him again, his lawyers said.
His advocates YP Singh and Sanket Gupta, said that a medical examination of Bagga was done. It revealed that his back and shoulders were injured. Bagga’s statement would be recorded before the Magistrate concerned on Monday. On Friday night Bagga reached back his home. Bagga flashed the victory sign upon his arrival and was fed sweets by Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta.
