Lucknow: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday released their manifesto ahead of Uttar Pradesh Elections. In Samajwadi Party’s manifesto, the party promises to waive off the loans taken by farmers in four years. They have also promised to provide Rs 25 lakh each to the families who lost their loved ones during farm law’s protest.
List of promises made by the Samajwadi Party in the manifesto:
Rs 1 lakh crore for the upliftment of the rural economy.
Farms Corpus Fund will be established if SP is voted to power.
300 units of electricity will be provided free of cost to every household.
Samajwadi Party canteens will be built across the state where food will be provided for Rs 10 to each person.
Kisan Bazar to be expanded.
Food processing cluster in every Mandal.
Will join the villages with modern agriculture.
100 percent of agricultural land will benefit from irrigation programs.
For irrigation, free electricity will be provided by the SP if voted to power.
Interest-free loans.
Each BPL family will get two LPG cylinders annually free of cost.
33 percent reservation for women in jobs.
Free education for girls in government educational schools and institutions from Class KG to PG courses.
The owner of two-wheelers will get 1 lire free petrol every month.
Autorickshaw owners will get 6 liters of petrol and 3 kg CNG free every month.
Populist promises have been made in the manifesto for farmers, women, students, and common people. BJP had launched its Sankalp Patra this morning itself, in which many important election promises like three free cylinders every year to women, scooty to girl students, free electricity to farmers have been made.
Regarding law and order in UP, Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘CCTV cameras will be installed in all villages and towns in a year. Dial 112 will be further strengthened in the state. All police stations will be made corruption-free. A zero tolerance policy will be adopted on crime against women.
